Convert Date to Text Format in Excel!

A few days ago, I need to use a lot of data to be input in the date format, a data in text format. The first thing I did,  of course, i change the format of these cells to become long-date. But it's not solve my problem.

For example, I have a cell with a long-format date 15/07/1996 I fill it will show a 15 July 1996. But if I change the cell format to text, it will appear in cell number 35261. Well, of course that's not what I need.

After a several minutes, i remembered that it could be served by TEXT function. In this case, to display the date format, i used this formula = TEXT (A1; "dd mmmm yyyy").

That way, the look will be equally 15 July 1996, but in the text formatt!

If I copy: then paste-special-value, would appear to be 15 July 1996. However, if it is still in the date format, if do copy - paste-special-value will appear 35261.

Next question: how with the opposite? A cell that contains text such as dates, will be converted into the format of the date. It should be, right? And apparently it can.

In this time, I use the formula = DATEVALUE (A2). Of course, in cell A3 is the formula that I fill, I have made the long-date format. So it will look 15 July 1996. If the cell format is still in General; shown is 35261.
